The required skills range from adjusting pieces, tools, injection moulds (usually plastic),presses, folding machines, moulds, dies and the reading and interpreting of plans.
 
Among their many tasks, are:
 
  • The repair of moulds and the verification of parts.
  • Corrective and preventive maintenance, mechanical or pneumatic and hydraulic.
  • Analysis, diagnosis and repair of breakdowns and tooling.
  • The reconstruction of male dies with TIG welding.
  • The assembly of components using MIG-MAG or electrode welding. 
  • One of activities most in demand is manufacturing, which can range from turning pieces on a lathe to industrial machinery (stamping machinery) dies, moulds, containers, metal structures, railings, fences, iron ladders, etc.
 
Repair is also an important activity for mechanical equipment, machinery, tools, traces, brands and deep-drawing and stamping moulds.
 
Other skills are less manual, such as ensuring the quality and quantity required by customers, handling of 3D programs and machining, knowledge of ISO language, etc.
